Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You will help us with the development of algorithms and software prototypes to improve clinical decision making from SPECT/CT and PET/CT images. This will involve understanding both the technical and clinical challenges, concept design, software development (simulations, algorithm optimization, curation of data, automation scripts), and rigorous testing
• You will work closely with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers and physicians
• You document your work in a structured way and present it regularly to the team

Your qualifications and experience:

• You are pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field and you are on track with your study with ideally good grades
• You have programming proficiency with Python, GIT is nice-to-have
• Familiarity with medical imaging and image processing is a plus

Your attributes and skills:

• You have excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
• You work analytically, in a structured and quality-conscious manner
• You are able to work independently and enjoy a collaborative team environment
