Merchandise Manager Global eCommerce (Category Management) (m/f/d)

As Merchandise Manager Global eCommerce (Category Management), you will play a key role in shaping our global eCommerce merchandise setup and driving data-informed decisions in a highly dynamic, international environment. The position is limited to 18 months.



 



What you can expect:


  • Work independently on achieving Net Sales, Net Units, Total Price Reductions, Margin and Total Stock targets for a directly operated online platform in close cooperation with the Senior Merchandise Manager.

  • Monitor in-season performance on the dedicated online platform and trigger necessary measures and actions with the teams.

  • Operational merchandising: in-season trading, allocation of fashion and NOS assortments, input for marketing strategy, organizational open-to-buy fulfillment.

  • Maintain and implement merchandise processes and reports to ensure that eCom merchandising stays competitive, in close cooperation with the Senior Merchandise Manager and the team: optimizing existing processes, ensuring smooth connection to interfaces, creating new processes (if needed), abolishing or changing old processes (if needed); joining projects as a project team member or taking over the role as sub-project lead.

  • Responsibility for tools and reports: design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement together with the Senior Merchandise Manager and the team.

  • Ongoing and ad-hoc analyses to support the business and define the eCom merchandise strategy.

  • Management of internal and external global interfaces: alignment with external partners, alignment with internal global markets, communication and collaboration with all other internal interfaces to build a good partnership; independently managing all stakeholders relevant for the position.


Your profile:

Experience & Background  



  • At least 2 years of professional experience in at least one of the following areas: Retail, Merchandising, eCommerce

  • Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven commercial environment is a strong plus.


Skills & Competencies  



  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret numbers, KPIs, and trends and convert them into concrete actions.

  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, assertive appearance in dealing with multiple stakeholders.

  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high degree of ownership and independence.

  • Strong collaboration mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional, international teams.

  • High affinity for tools, reports, and processes; comfortable working with data and systems.
