We're looking for an exceptional Mobile Lead to transform our current mobile application. This is a critical role for someone ready to step up from a senior individual contributor to leading our mobile competence, directly reporting to the CTO.

Your mission will be to...

- Build highest quality code for our app
- Lead and transform our mobile development competence
- Architect and implement solutions to improve our current mobile application
- Set mobile development standards and best practices (testing, design patterns, etc.)
- Drive mobile product strategy alongside product teams

This mission is awesome, because you will…

- Own the entire mobile development lifecycle
- Mentor and grow the mobile engineering team
- Play an integral part in the expansion of Europe's fastest growing AI learning startup
- Have direct impact with your decisions on millions of students from around the globe

Proven track record building high-quality mobile applications
Senior-level experience with Flutter or React Native with excellent framework knowledge
Exceptional eye for detail and passion for quality
Extensive experience with quality-oriented practices (E2E testing, TDD, unit testing)
Profound knowledge of development lifecycle practices (CI/CD, A/B testing, release management)
Strong understanding of monitoring and observability solutions for mobile
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of app performance optimization techniques
Experience with mobile analytics and crash reporting tools
Understanding of app store optimization and release strategies
You believe in the power of speed and execution and love to get your hands dirty and go the extra mile
You are obsessed to serve the user and strive to deliver over sticking to processes
You value in-person teamwork and are happy to come to our Berlin HQ five days per week
