Jung von Matt HAVEL is looking for a Motion Designer - Social Media (d/f/m).
As an ideal Motion Designer with focus on social media you score with strong motion design skills to bring bold, thumb-stopping social media campaigns to life. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, think in big ideas as well as in snappy formats, and know how to adapt creative visions into motion-first assets, this role puts you at the creative heart of impactful social storytelling.
Your tasks:
- Develop, create, and execute concepts for video and animation content
- As motion experts, you’ll be responsible for translating creative concepts into dynamic moving images, — whether through animations, edits, music, or motion-enhanced assets that grab attention in the first second
- Translate strategic and emotional cues into motion that reinforces broader brand narratives
- Create and produce video content using a smartphone or DSLR camera, including lighting and sound
- You’re open to integrating AI tools into your creative process — from ideation support to AI-enhanced motion design — to increase efficiency and explore new creative possibilities
- You’re always on top of creative and cultural trends, integrating new visual styles, editing techniques, and narrative approaches into your concepts to keep clients ahead of the curve
What you score with:
- Proven experience as a creative motion designer, ideally with a focus on social-first and motion-driven campaigns
- Excellent understanding of social platforms, their creative possibilities, and user behavior (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Excellent design sense and the ability to direct visually and motion-wise
- Integrate AI into Motion Design
- Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance creative workflows, experiment with emerging technology, and push the boundaries of digital motion design
- Fluent in German and English
