Music Director/Accompanist

• 2+ years of music education or equivalent church/chapel experience.

• 3+ years keyboard and/or organ performance.

• Ability to lead vocal music in line with Catholic liturgical norms.

• Proficient in Gregorian Chant, hymns, and contemporary liturgical music.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide piano/organ accompaniment and/or cantor leadership for Sunday Masses and special services.

• Conduct weekly choir rehearsals (90 units/year) separate from pre-service prep.

• Arrive 45 minutes early for coordination, sound check, and prelude.

• Lead or support congregational singing; train others as needed.

• Select music in collaboration with the Chaplain for all liturgical elements.

• Submit seasonal music plans at least four weeks in advance.
