The Opportunity

IgniteSAP is supporting an SAP consultancy looking to strengthen its commercial leadership team with an experienced SAP Sales professional.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of strategic client relationships, identify new opportunities and drive revenue across the SAP market. You will have the autonomy to shape your approach, work closely with senior stakeholders and turn your existing SAP network into meaningful commercial opportunities.

• Own the commercial relationship: Build and develop relationships with senior decision makers across the SAP ecosystem.


• Drive growth: Identify, develop and close new SAP opportunities across existing and prospective clients.


• Use your network: Leverage established relationships across SAP customers, partners and decision makers.


• Shape the sales strategy: Bring your market knowledge and commercial experience to the development of the wider sales function.


• Work with delivery experts: Collaborate closely with SAP consultants, solution experts and leadership to build compelling client propositions.

Your Contribution

• Develop and execute sales strategies across the SAP market.


• Build and maintain relationships with C-level and senior decision makers.


• Identify new business opportunities and develop them from initial contact through to close.


• Own the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, opportunity development, negotiation and contract closure.


• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for account expansion.


• Build a strong and qualified SAP sales pipeline.


• Work with SAP consultants and solution specialists to develop compelling client propositions.


• Lead client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.


• Monitor market developments and identify opportunities around SAP S/4HANA, Cloud, BTP, AI and other emerging SAP technologies.


• Work closely with leadership to develop go-to-market strategies and commercial priorities.


• Maintain accurate forecasting and provide visibility of pipeline, revenue and expected deal activity.

The Expertise You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in SAP sales, consulting sales or a closely related commercial role.


• A strong understanding of the German SAP market.


• Demonstrable experience generating and closing SAP consulting or technology business.


• An established network of SAP customers and senior decision makers.


• Experience managing strategic accounts and developing new business.


• Strong understanding of SAP transformation, ideally including S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, BTP or related solutions.


• A proven ability to manage a sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature.


• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.


• Experience working with revenue targets, sales forecasts, pipeline management and deal values.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage C-level stakeholders.


• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into commercial results.


• Very good written and spoken German and English.
