- In constant exchange with local IT/OT functions, oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of manufacturing hardware and software, including PLC, SCADA, HMI and MES systems
- Develop, roll-out and take account for a global operational security strategy covering all OT assets in the company’s industrial and production environments
- Assess current and new vendors for equipment, software and support services in their ability to build and deliver secure OT applications and systems
- Report to governing bodies (e. g. Interroll Security Board) concerning new and emerging cyber threats
- Implement uniform OT technology, configurations and protocols to the degree applicable in order to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance security
- Create a network of local OT responsibles within the production companies together with MDs/Head of plants
- Actively cooperate with central IT functions in the upcoming network segmentation process, increasing OT safety against malware and cyberattacks
- Visit plants conducting assessments concerning information security risks related to software, hardware, third-party applications
