Role summary 

As an Operations Manager you support the Senior Operations Manager in ensuring the effective running of production and supply operations during the shift. You are responsible for managing a large team of Colleagues including Shift Leads and Area Managers whilst being held accountable for production schedules, adherence to quality and safety standards and optimising operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, improve productivity, and meet production goals. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail and ability to drive continuous improvement will contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you’ll do 

• Lead a team of Shift Leads and Area Managers on shift to consistently achieve and exceed all shift Key Performance Indicators on time through effective coaching, collaboration and performance management. 


• Own the operational performance within your designated shift. This includes ensuring smooth workflow, optimising resource utilisation to consistently meet production targets


• Champion clear communication: Proactively keep stakeholders informed and facilitate collaboration across departments


• Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.


• Continuously improve and optimise operational processes, actively identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  
  

What you’ll bring: 

• Proven experience (3+years) in a manufacturing or distribution centre / operational environment.


•  Strong experience with managing large scale operations with multiple management tiers


•  Demonstrates strong track record of team leadership with a large scale rapid and process driven environment


• Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, from peers to upper leadership


• Relevant experience in performing advanced data analysis with tools like Excel / GSheets / Grafana / Tableau and using the data to influence business decisions


• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments


• A long-term mindset, committed to business impact


• Fluent in German and English


• You are willing to work in 3-shifts operation, are highly motivated, flexible and a team player
