The client is the market leader and test winner at Stiftung Wartentest. The department is responsible for rental car comparison. For 7 years they have been helping customers from Augsburg to find the right rental car at the best price at any time and are a competent contact for all questions and problems.

Their IT teams work daily to make the comparison even better and clearer for their customers, also make contact with the services they have much easier and faster. Type of contract: Permanent, on -site/hybrid

Location: Augsburg, Germany

You Will:

You will work on exciting topics related to their multilingual rental car comparison - from comparison results to booking routes to self -services in their customer area after booking. You will work closely with their frontend teams and external partners and use them to implement REST API connections
You are responsible for the technical implementation of product improvements and further develop their backend applications in the rental car area
You help to further develop the current state -of -the -art tech stack of their entire application
You implement innovative features in close cooperation with their product managers and by introducing your own ideas

Requirements

Completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or comparable training in IT or a degree in computer science
Prior knowledge of using the Linux shell, flair for software architecture and interest in DevOps (Linux)
Passion and interest in web development with PHP and MySQL
Distinct quality awareness, impressive hands -on mentality, enjoy developing, very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Good knowledge of German.
