As a Portfolio Operations Manager Defense, you will be a key figure in our team, responsible for the operational management and continuous development of our portfolio within the defense sector. Your main tasks will involve leveraging your expertise in Portfolio Management and Project Management to ensure that our projects and programs are successfully executed and achieve our strategic objectives. You will utilize your deep understanding of the defense sector to identify requirements and develop tailored solutions. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in Presales, providing technical consultancy and actively supporting our offerings. This position offers you the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth and success of our defense initiatives and drive innovation in a dynamic environment.
Must-Have Skills
Proven experience in strategic portfolio management
Demonstrable skills in successful project management
In-depth knowledge and experience within the defense sector
Practical experience in presales activities
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with agile portfolio management frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
Experience with relevant portfolio management software (e.g., Planview, Jira Align)
Further certifications in project or portfolio management (e.g., PMP, PfMP)
Knowledge of defense-specific regulations or procurement standards
