Power-Electronics - Hardware Developer

The mission of BAVERTIS is to create a software-driven battery ecosystem for electric vehicles, which generates and evaluates battery data to improve safety and make the maximum battery capacity available during its whole lifecycle. Our modular 3 in 1 electronics cannot just act as a bi-directional charger, operate as a pro-active battery management system (BMS) and drive a multi-phase engine. It also collects and evaluates detailed data from every cell and therefore further optimizes the system performance.

BAVERTIS is looking for a Power Electronics - Hardware Developer. You will work closely with the electronic design team and will play a crucial role in our product development. You will be responsible both for the development, integration and validation of new PCBs and for general electrical design integration.

• 2+ years of experience in the field of electronics development (KiCad, Altium, Eagle)
• Experience when to use µController and when FPGA
• Basic understanding of battery cells
• Enthusiast in Electronics and you do not fear to work with currents above 100 A
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German or English
• Strong team player, high communication skills, strong conceptual skills and analytical mindset
• Optional: know how to use mechanical engineering software (Fusion360, SolidWorks, …)
• Optional: Experience in the field of Semiconductors-Development is a plus!
