Praktikant (m/w/d) - Upstream Development - 6 Monate

We are looking for an intern for our Upstream Development team who already has advanced knowledge in the field of biotechnology, preferably in fermentation, and is interested in working closely with our team to drive the development of our innovative bioprocesses. As an intern in Upstream Process Development, you will work with us on the latest process developments and can make a significant contribution to the success of the projects.

• Plan and carry out the evaluation of bacterial fermentation processes
• Be responsible for monitoring processes and documentation
• Prepare samples for analysis and buffer solutions/ chemicals
• Present your work to other team members
• Support the team with general laboratory work
• Be responsable for cleaning the laboratory equipment (e.g. the fermenters) 

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant or related field (biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, bioprocess engineering, bioengineering, etc.)
• You are used to working in a laboratory environment, ideally in a biotechnological/fermentative context
• First experience in the cultivation of bacterial cells and working with fermenters is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of German and English
• High ability to work in a team 
• Hands-on mentality and technical understanding are an advantage
