Age Group of children: There are vacant positions in the Lower and Upper Primary School
Location: Könneritzstraße 47, 04229 Leipzig, Germany
Contract: full-time, initially fixed-term for 2 years followed by the option of a subsequent employment contract with an infinite duration

Our primary school offers a high-quality education programme for over 330 children aged 6 to 11. It supports each student’s personal, social, academic, physical and emotional development in an internationally oriented context. In our primary school an international curriculum is used to ensure that we provide a clear and consistent curriculum that appropriately challenges the students.

Create an inspiring learning environment that supports intellectual, physical, social, and creative development.
Promote international-mindedness by encouraging openness to diverse perspectives, values, and traditions, fostering global citizenship in our learners.
Collaboratively plan and deliver lessons in partnership with your grade-level team and subject specialists.
Deliver engaging, relevant, and challenging lessons that address the needs of diverse learners and ensure student progress in all areas.
Provide meaningful feedback to guide learners in developing skills, knowledge, and critical thinking.
Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication about student progress, achievements, and opportunities.
Contribute to our school community by sharing expertise, refining practices, and ensuring cohesive systems across the primary school.
Work collaboratively within our whole school community to uphold and enrich a unified approach to learning and teaching.

We are seeking a candidate who embodies the following qualities and qualifications:
- Educational Background:
  - A degree in Primary Education and a valid teaching license.
- Experience:
  - Proven success as an exceptional classroom teacher in an inquiry focused learning environment.
  - Familiarity with international curricula and experience in a diverse, globally-minded school community.
- Skills and Attributes:
  - High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  - Excellent communication skills, including effective use of IT and new technologies.
  - Strong ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  - A focus on fostering high achievement and student development.
  - Collaborative and flexible mindset with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
  - Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
  - Organizational, ethical, and empathetic qualities that inspire trust and respect.
