BBIS has an opening for a Primary School German Teacher (f/m/d)
Part-Time: 15/30 teaching hours per week (20 working hours)
Start date: 1st August 2025
Limited initially until 31st July 2027

German Teacher in Primary School, grade 1 to 5
Teach German (Language and Literature and German Language Acquistion) through the PYP framework
Support concept based inquiry in German teaching and learning
Work in an inclusive environment with a diverse cohort of students
Differentiate to accommodate individual needs
Plan, assess and report against clear learning outcomes
Collaborate with others and embrace opportunities for team teaching
Have strong beliefs that all students can access and succeed in German Language and that the cornerstone of student confidence is the acquisition of foundational content, skills, and understandings
Have a keen interest in promoting student well-being through teaching and learning in the German classroom and beyond

Primary Teaching certification with an experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
Primary German Teaching certification with experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
Team player, resilient, positive & has a growth mindset. Willing to learn and take risks
Ability to motivate and inspire students and colleagues alike
High level of initiative, willing to work in an ambitious and dynamic school. Effective practice to utilize technology within teaching and learning
Commitment to academic excellence, matched by a belief in educating the whole person
