Procurement and Supply Chain Intern (m/f/d) - Mandatory internship for 6 months

Your mission

As a Procurement and Supply Chain Intern, you will work intensively with our suppliers to ensure that our catalog information is accurate and our customers receive their high-end and sustainable merchandise with the best possible quality, timing, and cost-efficiency.

Your tasks

• Create and Update SKUs: Develop new SKUs with all relevant details and add-ons in the ERP system for catalog publication or inventory addition.
• Manage Product Master Data: Oversee the daily maintenance of product master data, ensuring accuracy and structured organization.
• Define and Implement Catalogues: Collaborate with stakeholders to define specific catalogues for special occasions and lead their implementation as a project manager.
• Coordinate with Sourcing Manager: Align with the responsible Sourcing Manager to clarify internal stakeholders' questions about product details and add-ons with suppliers.
• Support Data Analysis: Assist with data for category and product performance analyses and participate in discussions on actions, such as product off-boarding or price increases.
• Manage Purchase Orders: Handle customer purchase orders (POs) within a defined scope (e.g., region or supplier portfolio), ensuring all attributes are updated in the ERP system and reflect the actual status throughout the PO process cycle.
• Invoice Management: Receive and verify supplier invoices, forward them to the Finance team for payment, and monitor the payment process, potentially re-checking with Finance and suppliers as needed.
• Ensure Communication: Maintain systematic communication on order-related topics with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Warehouse).
• Build Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain operational relationships with relevant suppliers and third parties.

Your profile

• You are business-fluent in English (speaking & writing).
• You are an enrolled student of business management, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• You are able to handle a portfolio of parallel procurement and supply chain-related tasks and prioritize well.
• You have intercultural sensitivity and feel comfortable working with very international stakeholders.
• You have a proactive and constructive communication style and a structured and responsible way of working.
• You don't shy away from numbers and KPIs and have an analytical mindset.
  Plus Points for:
  • Fluency in other languages, particularly Chinese, Turkish, or German.
  • Experience in the apparel or merchandising industry.
