Procurement Manager - (f/m/d) in Berlin

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to join MakerVerse reporting to our COO, with the potential to grow into a leadership role within our procurement team. Main tasks:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers in the manufacturing industry.
• Oversee supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and drive procurement best practices across the team.

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
• This role does not include managerial responsibilities within the first 6-9 months. However, strong leadership potential is required, with the capability to eventually lead and mentor a procurement team.
• Experience in managing procurement within an on-demand or custom manufacturing setting.
• You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills.
• You are based in Berlin and available to work in a hybrid setting (60% office, 40% WFH).
