Product Designer (f/m/d)

• Creating user-centered designs that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of Cardmarket's website and native apps, keeping them intuitive and enjoyable to use
• Creating wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups/prototypes, and storyboards to visualize layouts and Cardmarket’s functionality
• Collaborating closely with the Product Team, Frontend’s Principal Engineer, and stakeholders to ensure the designs are aligned with the product, business and technical requirements
• Documenting and maintaining design systems and style guides that are in line with the brand identity guidelines
• Communicating design concepts, principles behind the design choices to team members and stakeholders  
• Helping the Product Manager to perform research and analysis activities that inform design decisions. This includes surveys, interviews, usability testing, analytics tools, to understand and evaluate user needs, behaviors and pain points
• Mapping out Cardmarket’s user journeys for different user personas (private, business, enterprise, as well as internal users)
• Analyzing the competitors of our marketplace and identify possible competitive edges

• Minimum three years of professional experience as Product Designer and/or UI/UX Designer
• Deep understanding of Design Fundamentals, User-Centered Design (UCD), Information Architecture and Responsive/Adaptive Design.
• High proficiency with Design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision
• Proficient with Prototyping tools and Analytics tools
• Illustration skills with the ability to work with an existing style and/or create new one
• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
• Creativity, flexibility, quick thinking, and the capability of working in an agile team
• Capability of working independently and carefully as well as together with a team, paired with a problem-solving attitude
• Fluent in English – verbal and written
• Affinity for trading cards and games is a plus
• Presence in Berlin is required
• Portfolio needs to be provided

• A full-time position (39 hours) in our office in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg
