You’ll make an impact by 

• You will be the responsible entrepreneur for Sustainability in our strategy, teams and portfolio for power supply and grids, from the foundational baseline up to enhanced Sustainability features and offerings.
• You stay abreast with new Sustainability policies, innovations, technologies and market developments to address the constantly evolving digital transformation landscape for power systems.
• You ensure clarity for market access by interpreting standards, regulations and laws and actively participating in industry associations, technical committees and standards organization working groups.
• You define and implement our product portfolio Sustainability strategy in line with the overall portfolio strategy, including USPs, relevant sustainability certifications, as well as ensuring that Sustainability in products, systems, solutions and services are all integrated.
• You work closely with PLM Product Managers, R&D and Sales teams to ensure the consistent implementation of  Sustainability features and controls across our portfolio, especially in the domains of automation, protection and IoT.
• Sustainability across the entire lifecycle is an integral part of our products. You ensure that related roadmap and processes for supervising and improving our targets for Secondary Materials, Recyclability, Sustainable Packing and Substances of Concern are seamlessly integrated into our design, development, delivery and customer support chains.
• You will be responsible for strategically planning and handling the CSRD compliance budget and ensuring cost-effective integration of sustainability important metrics across the product lifecycle.
• Sustainability is a collective and overarching mission. You therefore collaborate closely with related functions in other Functions and Teams and, at Business Unit, Division and Corporate levels e.g. for DEGREE goals, ECO Design ambitions, and CSRD reporting.

• You have many years of experience in power supply and grids, Medium Voltage/Low Voltage, in particular in the system protection, automation and IoT domain.
• You are knowledgeable and experienced in relevant international Sustainability regulations and standards e. g. EU CSRD, EU Taxonomy, U.S. SEC CDR, TCFD, SBTi, etc.
• You are a Sustainability ESG Practitioner or Sustainability Excellence Professional OR with equal knowledge.
• You can quickly grasp new technologies and business models and are keen to pass on this knowledge to others and translate them into customer benefit.
• You bring a strong understanding of product lifecycle management and strategic planning.
• With your initiative, result-orientation, and good communication skills, you drive topics to successful results in collaboration and teamwork with diverse faculties.
• A master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field and proficiency in English round off your profile.
