The Role

As Product Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the global implementation of our strategic goals. You will be responsible for the translation of the strategy into tactical work plans for your product segment. Assessing and supporting all the activities to develop new businesses in the Detergents, Home Care and I&I sector, performing business and market analysis to support and drive business decisions and direction and successfully driving new product launches. You will report to the Global Business Director Detergent Enzymes.  

Your Responsibilities:

• Providing a strong contribution to strategy development and implementation on the basis of continuously maintained and developed market research and knowledge.  


• Developing and maintaining our product roadmap, which supports growth targets and maintains business through successful implementation of those product plans in the market. 


• Managing the product portfolio according to market needs and optimize profitability. This will include the pricing strategy and product roadmaps. 


• Product launches, including translating technical features into customer benefits and preparing launch plans and supporting materials as well as coordinating and monitoring product launches, jointly with regional commercial managers, application specialists and supply-chain teams 


• Evaluation of new business opportunities in the industry by collecting, structuring and analysing market trends and data. 


• Preparing and facilitating key decision-making meetings within our IBP processes 

About You

• Possess an academic degree in science, engineering, business or marketing


• Have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in product management or comparable experience in the home care and I&I industries


• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking, possessing a high level of creativity and curiosity, with proven success in developing innovative solutions and approaches 


• Ability to present in a highly effective and professional manner


• Highly developed interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to engage and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation


• Planning and organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously


• Self-starter, structured and results-oriented person taking a proactive approach with a sense of urgency in driving projects to completion 


• Fluency in both written and verbal English language
