You'll own t
rade Intelligence: the platform around our classification core.
Our classification core product is what gets our customers in, the trade platform is what makes them stay. Your job is to add value around the core, using data to make thoughtful decisions and understand what will increase our pipeline, expand our product offering, and enrich our user experience.
Your first 6 months
- Months 1-2: You take over ownership of trade Intelligence, your roadmap items, the ways of working. You get deep with team members, customs experts and customers, to understand where our offering can be expanded or enriched. You have already defined and shipped your first (small) improvements.
- Months 3-4: Full execution mode. You're unblocking engineering daily, making hard prioritization calls, and keeping the roadmap moving. You're feeding what you learn from customers straight back into the product and already shaping the mid-term roadmap, being a core part of the upcoming roadmap planning.
- Months 5-6: You are now a lighthouse for the platform. You bring the product team user behaviors and trends.
- Month 6+: It’s hard to predict much further than this out…
Who will thrive at traide
We throw smart people with high agency at problems. Bring solutions not problems.
We hire against five principles. We call them
TEACH:
- Tenacity: You drive things through ambiguity. You don't stop because it got hard or because no one is watching.
- Empathy: You have an instinct for customer pain. You feel where a customs team is stuck before they can articulate it.
- Audacity: You're willing to try the uncertain and the scary. You'd rather build the thing that doesn't exist yet than the safe iteration.
- Curiosity: You have a discovery instinct. You ask the second-order question, then the one after that, until you actually understand.
- Humility: The one that matters most. You're harder on yourself than anyone else would be, you know what you don't know, and you treat being wrong as information, not a threat.
