Flatpay is on a mission to simplify and support how small businesses operate. As we continue expanding our Point-of-Sale (POS) offering in Germany, we are looking for a Product Specialist to join us in ensuring our products are ready for the German market - both in function and experience.

As a Product Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between product development and the reality on the ground. You’ll work closely with teams in Product, Sales, Support, Operations, and Engineering - collaborating across teams while staying deeply rooted in your local market.

This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll be close to the product and even closer to the users. You’ll be involved in setting up systems, reviewing customer feedback, observing merchant behavior, and helping roll out new features. You’ll play a direct role in shaping our success in Germany.

What you'll do

You act as the local product representative and support the rollout and optimization of our innovative payment solutions in the German market.
You’ll connect with internal teams and customers to ensure the best possible experience with our POS and payment products.
You will independently plan your workweek and collaborate closely with teams across product, sales, and operations.
You document local market needs and help shape product improvements based on real customer insights.
You assist with setting up terminals and POS systems, supporting local teams with installations, feedback, and training where needed.

Who you are

You speak German and English fluently – both written and spoken
You are structured, hands-on, and confident working independently
You enjoy solving problems and learning new tools or systems
Experience in product, customer support, or sales enablement is a plus – but not required
A background in retail, hospitality, or small business environments is a bonus
You’re comfortable traveling for onboarding and occasional team events
