Program Quality Manager - Space Digital - 1 year contract [25137]

HE Space is a successful international space company. For 40 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. HE Space has joined forces with CS Group to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

As part of the Airbus Quality unit, you will have the following responsibilities:

Project Support

• Develop a Quality Assurance Plan for projects developing new products and services
• Check new customer contracts for quality requirements, track and implement changes
• Flow down the contract-specific quality requirements (e.g. to the project, suppliers, subcontractors)
• Ensure project milestones and review gates are planned and implemented
• Perform the counterparty role for customer Quality Assurance Representatives
• Provide business process awareness, training and coaching

Product & Service Assurance

• Ensure Quality Control Activities are planned and performed by the responsible people
• Execute Supplier audits and support First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Ensure management of Non-Conformance by project and service teams
• Ensure customer deliverables meet customer requirements

Business Improvement

• Promote a preventative culture with the business.
• Monitor customer complaints and satisfaction, trace back to root cause and track implementation of the resolution
• Perform process audits
• Escalate hot topics and items of non-compliance
• Facilitate the lessons learned process and foster best practices sharing

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace engineering with a focus on quality or similar
• Several years of experience in the aerospace industry focused on quality management for space products/solutions
• Proficient with SAP and MS Office tools, familiar with quality management software
• Knowledge of DOORS is desirable
• Team player with proactive and an operational way of working
• Business fluency in German and English is mandatory
