Arbeitsbeschreibung - Project Design Optimization Engineer

Develop the economic optimum for TURN2X RNG projects, taking into account site-specific factors to maximize efficiency and profitability.Outcomes

After 6 months:
- Project Assessment: Complete a thorough evaluation of current RNG projects to identify optimization opportunities.
- Initial Designs: Develop and present optimization designs for at least two RNG projects.
- Tooling: Develop a scalable approach to analyze and optimize any future RNG projects that is usable by the project development team.
After 12 months:
- Implementation: Oversee the implementation of optimization strategies for first projects.
- Cost Savings: Achieve measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements in at least three projects compared to initial, no optimized design.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop a system for monitoring and reporting on the performance of optimized projects.
After 18 months:
- Optimization Expansion: Expand optimization efforts to 5 additional RNG projects.
- Best practices: Develop and document best practices for design optimization within the company.
- Innovation: Introduce innovative techniques or technologies that enhance the economic performance of RNG projects
Must-have:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in design optimization, with a strong background in engineering principles relevant to RNG projects
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of RNG project requirements, including regulatory and environmental considerations
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze site-specific data and develop tailored optimization strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and presenting findings to stakeholders (from project development, to procurement, to engineering)
- Languages: English
Nice to have
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee the implementation of optimization strategies
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in optimizing renewable energy projects.
- Fast and hungry learner who lives extreme ownership
- Languages: German, Spanish
