The Greenfield Team of Smartenergy Germany GmbH is going in its expansion phase. The current Team based at Neuer Wall 54 is on the successful path to Develop its first batch of renewable energy large scale projects.

We are now seeking clever individuals with a self starting attitude to add to the success of the team. The main focus of this position is to further expand, but also contribute to enrich and grow our existing project pipeline.

You will be supported by a large technical, legal team, local planning and permitting Manager and GIS specialist

Originate, develop and monitor renewable energy projects and new opportunities
Acquisition of land plots suitable for the construction of PV projects
Develop and responsibly own project opportunities
Coordinate and implement and improve project development processes in an international and interdisciplinary team.
Supporting management in negotiations by preparing decision templates and reports
As a representative of Smartenergy, represent and negotiate the projects before authorities and other public bodies
Development and control of supporting local marketing strategies.
Support the management team in negotiations, preparing investment memos & reports and conducting due diligence by ensuring projects meet financing and technical requirements
Select and manage local businesses to partner and consultants in order to deliver projects to Ready to Build (RTB) stage

Fluent in German (ideally mother tongue)
Fluent in English (Company language)
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience Project Development of utility scale renewables

Microsoft package user
Apple user

Desire to build an innovative Solar PV business
Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines and budgets
