Arbeitsbeschreibung - Project Engineer (all genders)

Your mission:

Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale photovoltaic, BESS or hybrid power plants in Germany and internationally
Collaborate closely with project management and take responsibility for the SCADA scope (plant control, monitoring, power control, grid integration)
Coordinate technical requirements with customers, utilities, and grid operators to develop optimal solutions
Tackle technical challenges with a solution-driven mindset and a passion for innovation
Implement and help define network and cybersecurity measures
Utilize PLCs and RTUs for protocol conversion, plant automation, power control, and other SCADA functionalities

Your profile:

Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, communications engineering, or a related field
Independent and structured approach to work
Strong interest in technical problem-solving and innovation
Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
Comfortable working in a project-based environment
Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning tasks
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
