Project Manager

Project Manager Required – Sortation System Upgrade Project in Germany

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major sortation system upgrade project running from mid-July through to November 2026.

Project Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all project activities while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

Project Scope

* Removal and re-installation of sprinkler systems in a large warehouse environment.

* Dismantling and re-installation of 10 existing chutes.

* Installation of 2 new induct chutes, including:

* Support platform installation

* Installation of 2 Caljan units

* Full sorter commissioning.

* High-volume testing and operational validation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all project phases from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.

* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.

* Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans.

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality requirements.

* Manage project risks, issues, and change controls.

* Monitor progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

* Oversee commissioning activities and final acceptance testing.

* Ensure project completion within agreed timelines and budget.

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience managing material handling, automation, logistics, or sortation system projects.

* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience coordinating multidisciplinary installation and commissioning teams.

* Excellent planning, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.

* Familiarity with conveyor systems, sorters, chutes, and automated handling equipment is highly desirable.

* Relevant project management qualifications preferred.
