Project Manager - Overhead Line Construction (m/f/d)

Location: Mannheim, Germany (Hybrid - 50% Remote)
Salary: Up to €110,000 + Excellent Benefits

We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy delivering major energy infrastructure projects across Germany.

As part of continued growth within the power transmission sector, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in overhead line construction to support large-scale high-voltage grid expansion projects.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in Germany's energy transition, managing complex transmission infrastructure projects from planning through to execution.

The Role

As Project Manager for Overhead Line Construction, you will take ownership of projects within the high-voltage transmission sector, coordinating internal teams, contractors, authorities and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Independent project management of overhead line construction projects

Management of project objectives including cost, schedule and quality

Coordination of multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams

Management of contractors and external partners

Supporting approval processes and stakeholder coordination

Monitoring project progress and identifying risks

Supporting contract, claims and change management processes

Representing the client throughout project delivery

What We're Looking For

Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction or a related field

Experience managing overhead line, transmission line or grid infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of high-voltage infrastructure (110kV-380kV)

Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders

Knowledge of construction processes, approvals and project controls

Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex projects

Experience with overhead line design tools such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation or similar would be advantageous.
