Your area of work:
Provide senior project management and technical capabilities to the Cyber Protection team, ensuring delivery of complex cybersecurity initiatives and actively challenging technical solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and take end-to-end ownership of medium to large Cyber Security projects, from initiation to implementation and value realization
- Drive effective planning, execution, and tracking of cybersecurity initiatives, including regulatory-driven topics
- Act as a technical counterpart to security teams: challenge designs, validate approaches, and drive pragmatic implementation
- Ensure delivery of Cyber Protection Services projects on time, within budget and with high quality standards
- Proactively manage and follow up on risks, issues, actions, and decisions, driving resolution and accountability across stakeholders
- Provide central coordination and governance, actively monitoring deviations and driving corrective actions with teams, stakeholders, and senior management
- Lead change and project management activities, including direct engagement and negotiation with internal stakeholders and external vendors of technical solutions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Group Security, IT, and business units to ensure aligned and integrated solutions
- Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness, embedding security and compliance considerations into project planning and execution
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity capabilities, bringing in best practices, innovation, and where applicable AI-driven approaches or automation opportunities
Your profile:
- University degree in IT, Business Informatics, or comparable education
- 5+ years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Security, with at least 3 years leading complex cybersequrity programs and projects
- Strong experience in cybersecurity, information security management, or security engineering, ideally within the financial industry or a similarly regulated environment
- Ability to critically challenge technical designs and propose improvements, adding tangible value beyond coordination
- Proven track record in managing complex, technical projects, with the ability to translate between business and deep technical topics
- Expertise in project management methodologies with the ability to flexibly apply them to fit delivery needs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, align, and drive cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics and drive them to clear outcomes
- Ability to make sound decisions in dynamic and high-pressure environments
- Strong capability to prepare and present structured recommendations and decision options to senior management
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are advantageous
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical mindset, reliability, and a high sense of ownership
- Experience or strong interest in AI/automation in cybersecurity is a strong plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
