We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy delivering complex energy infrastructure projects across Germany.

As part of continued growth within the energy transition sector, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Electrical Engineering with a strong background in high-voltage systems, substations and battery storage projects.

This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who combines technical expertise with project management capability and wants to contribute to major grid expansion and sustainable energy projects.

The Role

You will manage complex electrical engineering projects involving high-voltage substations and battery storage systems, working with transmission system operators, distribution network operators and project developers.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and execution of new-build and refurbishment projects for substations and battery storage systems

Developing technical concepts for primary and secondary electrical systems

Advising customers on technical solutions and project implementation

Managing projects through HOAI phases 1-8

Coordinating subcontractors and external engineering partners

Providing technical leadership to project teams

Managing project delivery, quality and technical requirements

Supporting customer meetings and stakeholder coordination

What We're Looking For

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar

Strong professional experience in high-voltage and extra-high-voltage technology

Experience delivering energy transmission or grid infrastructure projects

Background in substations, switchgear, battery storage or electrical systems

Experience managing engineering projects and technical teams

Knowledge of HOAI project phases

Strong customer-facing and communication skills

Fluent German language skills (C1 level required)

Salary package up to €110,000 (€90,000-€100,000 typical range depending on experience)

13th month salary payment
