Project Manager Sales (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager Sales (m/f/d) for chassis components, rolling & sliding elements, you will drive customer projects from initial inquiry through successful series production. Combining strong technical understanding with commercial awareness, you will act as the central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead customer projects from quotation phase through industrialization and series production.
• Act as the primary interface between customers and internal departments, including Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for business growth and long-term partnerships.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate and support technical and commercial discussions with customers.
• Review customer requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and feasibility assessments together with engineering teams.
• Drive cross-functional project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs, quotations, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support contract negotiations and customer agreements in close cooperation with sales management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while developing effective solutions to technical and commercial challenges.
• Ensure customer expectations regarding quality, cost, and delivery are consistently achieved.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of project management best practices.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in project management, technical sales, account management, or a related customer-facing role.
• Strong engineering background with the ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes, and product requirements.
• Experience within the automotive, industrial, or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
• Commercial understanding and ability to balance technical and business objectives.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally as required.
