Project Planner

We are looking for a Project Planner to build and maintain the schedules on our projects. Your focus is the programme — cost control sits with the wider project controls team, and you will work alongside them.

Your Role will encompass:

• Provide specialist support on structural and civil construction matters.


• Review construction challenges related to foundations, earthworks, roads, drainage systems, retaining structures, and equipment foundations


• Build and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 and MS Project, including WBS and activity coding


• Prepare monthly/weekly updates, look-ahead programmes and recovery schedules


• Manage baselines and revisions


• Review subcontractor programmes and integrate them into the master schedule


• Load resources, produce histograms and flag over-allocation


• Collect and verify progress from site against the agreed measurement rules


• Track the critical path and report float erosion early


• Produce S-curves, progress reports and the schedule sections of the monthly report


• Provide schedule input to change and extension of time assessments


• Keep the schedule records and update archive needed to support claims

What you bring to the role:

• Degree in Engineering.


• 4+ years of planning/scheduling experience within EPC, energy, or industrial projects.


• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with the ability to develop project schedules from scratch, not only maintain or update existing ones.


• Strong Excel skills.


• Proven experience developing and managing WBS and activity coding structures.


• Experience in physical progress measurement, tracking, and reporting.


• Experience developing and managing resource- and cost-loaded schedules.


• Experience with NEC4 or FIDIC contracts would be considered an advantage.


• Previous experience with Solar PV and BESS projects would be beneficial.


• Site-based project experience would be desirable.
