Project Quality Manager (m/f/d)

Job Summary 

The Project Quality Manager - Large BESS Projects ensures compliance with internal and external quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This role focuses on implementing robust quality processes, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement to meet contractual and regulatory requirements. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to safeguard product and service integrity, while ensuring risk management. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain the project-specific Quality Management Plan in alignment with customer requirements and ISO standards. 

• Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual quality obligations and regulatory frameworks 

• Conduct internal and supplier audits; manage corrective and preventive actions. 

• Manage FAT & SAT events according to client expectations 

• Oversee inspection and test plans (ITPs) and ensure proper documentation. 

• Support risk assessments and implement mitigation measures related to quality and safety. 

• Provide training and guidance on quality and risk processes to project team. 

• Report quality performance metrics to stakeholders and recommend improvements. 

• Act as the primary interface for quality-related topics with the client and subcontractors. 

 Qualifications & Experience  

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

• German and English professional  proficiency

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality management within large-scale industrial or energy projects. 

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards. 

• Experience with audits and supplier quality management. 

• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools. 

• Certification as Quality Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor). 

• Familiarity with EPC project requirements and German regulatory standards. 

• Experience in battery storage or energy infrastructure projects. 

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• IT team coordination. 

• Attention to detail and process orientation. 

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. 

• Flexible to travel in EMA
