Job Description:
As a Project Manager (m/f/d/x), you will manage complex projects within a broad area of responsibility or lead sub-projects as part of larger programmes. In this role, you will provide functional leadership to project team members.
Define the project approach and establish clear responsibilities within the project or project portfolio.
Plan and coordinate project resources in line with the technical requirements and project scope; assess, communicate and mitigate risks, and tailor communication to the respective target groups
Manage project budgeting and planning, including regular updates
Contribute to the optimisation of project processes, activities and systems
Design, integrate and optimise smart building and building automation solutions – from sensors and actuators to building management systems
Implement and analyse communication and data solutions using BACnet and Modbus, as well as, optionally, OPC UA, MQTT or KNX
Develop and/or contribute to Python scripts for data processing, validation, monitoring and automation
Commission systems, analyse faults and drive their technical development, working closely with building services engineering, operations, IT and service providers
Candidate Profile:
You have a degree in process automation, building services engineering, energy engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering or mechanical engineering, or a comparable completed vocational qualification combined with several years of professional experience in project management. In addition, you have detailed company-specific knowledge or specialised expertise and skills in the following areas:
Detailed knowledge of the market, technology and competitive landscape in the information technology and telecommunications industry, including digital transformation
Very strong analytical and conceptual skills
Experience as a project manager or sub-project manager in planning, preferably in an agile environment
In-depth knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum and Lean
A completed degree in automation engineering, building services engineering, energy engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering or mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification combined with relevant professional experience
Sound practical experience in building automation, measurement, control and regulation technology, or building management systems, as well as a good understanding of building services engineering, HVAC and energy systems
Good to very good knowledge of BACnet and Modbus; knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT, KNX, APIs or IoT/edge systems, as well as programming and scripting skills in Python, would be an advantage
