Our client is the German subsidiary of a well‑established leading publicly‑listed Chinese Tier 1 automotive manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor production‑line quality for instrument‑panel, door‑trim and pillar‑trim components
• Deploy APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA for new‑project quality planning and risk control.
• Resolve OEM quality issues, complete 8D root‑cause analysis and ensure corrective‑actions are fully closed.
• Maintain IATF 16949 system and prepare for internal, external and OEM customer audits.
• Manage incoming, in‑process and finished‑goods quality deviations and implement countermeasures.
• Drive lean improvement projects to lower scrap, defect rates and customer PPM.
• (Manager level) Lead quality‑team daily operations and cross‑functional troubleshooting, reporting to plant management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automotive or quality‑related technical discipline.
• Tier 1 automotive experience; practical interior‑parts background preferred.
• Solid hands‑on knowledge of IATF 16949 and core automotive quality tools.
• Strong defect‑analysis skills and independent follow‑up of corrective actions.
• Effective cross‑functional communication with local German teams and OEM contacts.
• Mandatory on‑site work in Ingolstadt. Fluent English required; German is a strong plus.
