Arbeitsbeschreibung - Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

To achieve this, we develop comprehensive SaaS solutions that create transparency and sustainable growth across the entire value chain, meet ESG requirements, and automate manual processes.We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer who’s passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality software. In this role, you’ll focus on testing and ensuring the stability of our osapiens HUB platform, developing automated test suites, identifying issues, and refining processes to keep everything running smoothly. While your primary responsibility will be the quality of our software, you’ll also support the team by reviewing developer documentation for clarity and accuracy, ensuring it complements the user experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on making software dependable and effective.

The osapiens HUB is a modern, enterprise-grade application development platform. It provides everything needed to build powerful business applications in a "serverless" fashion. This means users don't need to worry about managing infrastructure, scaling, fail-over, or backups. Instead, users can focus on their highest value activities: implementing business logic and crafting beautiful user interfaces.

Ensure the overall quality and reliability of our platform, including thorough reviews of technical documentation
Develop and maintain automated tests in Java using JUnit to validate backend functionality
Write and execute frontend tests using Playwright with JavaScript, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience
Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the process
Take an active role in test planning, and risk assessments to ensure robust product delivery
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies in an agile team environment

Very strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance practices
Hands-on experience with Java and JUnit for backend test automation
Proficiency in frontend testing with Playwright and JavaScript/Typescript, or similar testing frameworks
Experience with maintaining technical documentation
Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development methodologies
Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for maintaining high-quality standards across the platform
