About the Company

Our client is an established civil engineering and construction contractor delivering complex groundworks, reinforced concrete and infrastructure projects across the UK and mainland Europe. With a strong reputation for quality, safety and successful project delivery, they have become a trusted partner on some of Europe's most significant data centre, industrial and infrastructure developments.

Operating across multiple countries, our client provides a full range of services including enabling works, bulk earthworks, drainage, utilities, foundations, reinforced concrete structures and external works. They work closely with leading developers, main contractors and end clients, delivering projects ranging from €5 million to in excess of €20 million.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work across Europe, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with experienced professionals seeking long-term opportunities on large-scale and technically challenging projects.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of multiple Groundworks, Civil Engineering and RC Frame packages on large-scale Data Centre developments in Frankfurt, Germany.

Reporting directly to the European Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of packages ranging from €5 million to €25 million, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and profitably.

About the Requirements

* Previous experience working for a Civil Engineering, RC Frame or Groundworks contractor is essential

* Strong understanding of commercial management on infrastructure, groundworks and reinforced concrete packages

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

* Minimum 2 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying position

* Experience administering subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts

* EU Passport or the right to work in Germany is essential
