Key
Responsibilities

·         Ensure regulatory
compliance of railway operations.

·         Plan, execute, coordinate and
monitor daily railway operations.

·         Manage the formation
and dissolution of trains.

·         Centrally control and
coordinate railway traffic.

·         Monitor and track train
movements and traffic.

·         Coordinate with railway
transport and infrastructure service providers (EVU/ EIU).

·         Operate and monitor railway
signalling systems.

·         Ensure safe and efficient
movement of railway traffic.

Essential Requirements

·         Completed training as a Railway
Traffic Controller (gn) or Railway Worker in Operational
Service (gn).

·         Several years of professional
experience in railway operations.

·         Practical experience operating signal
boxes/interlocking systems with track-plan technology (DrS2).

·         Knowledge of railway traffic
control and operational procedures.

·         Operational fitness
according to VDV Standard 714.

·         Ability to work responsibly in
a safety-critical railway environment.

Preferred Experience

·         Experience in central railway
traffic control.

·         Experience coordinating railway
transport and infrastructure operators.

·         Practical knowledge of train
formation, train movements and railway signalling.

·         Experience working with DrS2
track-plan technology.
