Regional Sales Director

Product information is becoming the backbone of how manufacturers sell — across channels, across borders, and now across regulated digital product passports. Inriver is the Product Information Management (PIM) platform behind it, helping industrial manufacturers and brands turn complex product data into revenue.

We're scaling in the DACH manufacturing heartland, and we're looking for a senior, partner-first sales leader to own that growth — winning new customers, expanding the ones we already have, and building the partner ecosystem that generates demand across the region.

This is a build-a-market role with real ownership. If you think like an ecosystem builder as much as a closer, please continue reading.

What you’ll do

• Own the full DACH sales cycle for new-logo manufacturing and industrial accounts — from pipeline generation through to close.

• Grow and expand our existing DACH customer base through upsell, cross-sell and deeper adoption.

• Build partner-first: Work with the partner team to recruit, enable and co-sell with system integrators, implementation and data-advisory partners, and the SAP ecosystem — making partners a primary engine of qualified demand, not an afterthought.

• Generate pipeline alongside marketing and partners, and run disciplined, value-led qualification so we invest where we win.

• Partner closely with an in-region, German-speaking solutions engineer on workshops, POCs and technical validation.

• Forecast accurately and keep a healthy, well-covered pipeline.

What you’ll bring

We don’t expect you to tick every box - but we think you’ll succeed here if you have many of the below:

✔️Proven enterprise SaaS sales experience in PIM, PXM, MDM, PLM, DAM, DXP, digital commerce or similar— product-data domain fluency is essential (we hire for domain expertise first, language second).

✔️A track record across both new-logo acquisition and account expansion.

✔️Real experience selling through and with partners — you know how to build and activate a partner network, not just carry a quota.

✔️Strong roots in the DACH manufacturing / industrial Mittelstand and a consultative, needs-led approach to value selling.

✔️Native-level German and professional English.

✔️Based in Germany.

✔️Able to travel up to 25% of your time

Nice to have

• Familiarity with product-data standards (ETIM, eCl@ss, BMEcat).

• Experience in or around the SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, SAP CX / BTP).

• Established relationships with DACH system integrators and implementation partners.

• Awareness of the EU Digital Product Passport (ESPR) and what it means for manufacturers.

Why Inriver

At Inriver, you'll join a global company with a product at the center - and people who genuinely care about building something meaningful together.

• A genuine build-a-market mandate, with ownership, visibility and the chance to shape how we grow in DACH.

• A strong product in a fast-growing category — including AI-assisted capabilities and syndication that manufacturers actively test for.

• Real support around you: an in-region solutions engineer, marketing air cover, and a growing partner ecosystem.

• Competitive base (€100.000-130.000 gross per year) plus uncapped commission.
