Arbeitsbeschreibung - Account Director (all gender)

Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for experienced and business-minded Account Directors to take full responsibility for our key client relationships and drive their continued growth. In this role, you will develop and lead customized strategies, take commercial ownership of key accounts, and serve as a primary point of contact at the decision-making level. You’ll identify new business opportunities, coordinate complex campaigns, and actively support the professional development of your team. This position is based on-site at our Berlin-Spandau headquarters.

Responsibilities:
  • Take full commercial responsibility for key accounts (communication, operational & strategic work) or selected products from Freaks portfolio
  • Define and implement account strategies covering revenue targets, profitability in defined time periods
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, maintain executive-level relationships by being their trusted advisor and understanding clients’ problems, needs and challenges
  • Identify sales cycles and map buying processes on your client’s side
  • Maximize business opportunities for Freaks 4U Gaming by seeking additional opportunities around your managed accounts
  • Manage complex contract negotiations supported by our Legal team
  • Ensure commercial and contract compliance is maintained within the identified contracts
  • Ensure that performance against service levels is continually measured, delivered and reported in an accurate and timely way
  • Create internal and external project/campaign briefings to ensure flawless execution by service departments
  • Accurately track the client team’s activities and forecast against revenue targets and other company KPI’s
  • Help in the professional development of Account Managers
  • Overall 10+ years of working experience in account management, sales or client service, preferably within an agency setting
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
  • Sales-driven and experienced in selling client-focused agency solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client interactions and track business development efforts
  • Understanding of the gaming and esports scene, marketing, measurements, and analytics
  • Fluent speech and writing skills in English. German skills are a benefit but not a must
