Your mission

As a Senior Accountant, you play a crucial role in our finance team, supporting the finance department in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all accounting and financial functions. Main responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the execution of all accounting functions, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports
Leading the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes and liquidity planning, as well as preparing financial reports according to applicable accounting standards
Support the Director of Finance in analyses and evaluations of financial data to identify financial trends and assess financial performance metrics
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and legal regulations.
Collaborating with other departments to optimize accounting processes and meet operational requirements
Providing support on special projects and other tasks as needed
Assisting with internal tax audits
Supporting as a point of contact for banks, tax advisors, and tax authorities

Your profile

You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, such as a tax clerk or industrial clerk, preferably as an accountant
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a similar position or at a tax advisor
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Extensive experience in using accounting software (DATEV) and MS Excel
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Team orientation and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and changes

Key steps of the process contain fluidic transport across multiple vessels and chemical mixing and separation processes in fully-reuseable or single-use disposable fluid paths. We develop our commercial products jointly with external design and manufacturing partners and the process development as well as the design and manufacturing of prototypes is done entirely in-house.
