Arbeitsbeschreibung - Accountant (m/f/d) Full-time

  • Independently manage ongoing financial accounting (AR, AP, and general ledger)
  • Review and post invoices, receipts, and bank transactions in multiple currencies
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB & IFRS)
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and business evaluations
  • Support budget planning and monitoring
  • Maintain and further develop controlling tools (e. g. Excel models)
  • Reconcile accounts, manage dunning, and ensure accurate account maintenance
  • Prepare VAT returns and financial/tax reports
  • Collaborate closely with tax advisors and auditors
  • General administrative activities in accounting
  • Help with in-house payroll processing
  • You have completed commercial training or hold a qualification as a tax clerk.
  • You have an analytical and accurate mindset – initial experience in controlling is an advantage.
  • You have solid knowledge of accounts payable and receivable booking.
  • You confidently handle VAT matters and ensure correct postings.
  • You are fluent in German and have good English skills.
  • You are familiar with German tax law and payroll processes.
  • You have a strong accounting foundation and experience with tools like DATEV, SAP, or Lexware.
  • You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
