AI Automation & Business Orchestration Manager (m/f/d)

To achieve this, we are looking for a technically skilled and commercially minded professional who will build our AI and automation landscape, implement practical solutions, and take responsibility for their secure and reliable operation.

• You work closely with our teams to analyse processes across our panel business, market research, and digital marketing activities, identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation.

• You prioritise AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, data risk, and scalability.
• You design, develop, and orchestrate AI agents and automated workflows across different systems, platforms, and data sources.
• You integrate existing applications via APIs, webhooks, and other interfaces, ensuring reliable data flows.
• You develop solutions for areas such as managing and quality-assuring panel processes, supporting research projects, and analysing and optimising digital marketing processes.
• Rather than simply assessing what can be automated, you work with our specialist teams to redesign processes before implementing them technically.
• You conduct proofs of concept, turn successful approaches into stable production solutions, and continuously improve them.
• You establish standards for access permissions, data protection, information security, human oversight and approvals, and the responsible use of AI.
• You develop testing, monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure that automations and AI agents operate reliably and transparently.
• You evaluate new AI technologies and providers based on their value, ease of integration, security, costs, and potential long-term dependencies.
• You measure the success of implemented solutions using metrics such as time savings, process quality, error rates, adoption, and commercial impact.
• You document solutions clearly and enable our teams to use AI safely and effectively.

You´re currently based and registered in Germany and meet the following requirements:

• You have several years of hands-on experience in AI automation, workflow automation, systems integration, solutions engineering, or the development of AI-powered applications.

• You have successfully designed, implemented, and deployed functional automations or AI agents in production environments.
• You have experience with platforms such as n8n, Make, Power Automate, or comparable automation solutions.
• You understand APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication methods, and cross-system data flows.
• You have programming skills, ideally in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• You have practical experience with large language models, tool calling, structured outputs, and the integration of proprietary knowledge sources.
• You can analyse and simplify complex business processes and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• You understand the key security risks associated with AI-powered and agentic systems, including prompt injection, excessive permissions, and unintended data disclosure.
• You have a strong commercial mindset and can realistically assess the effort, value, risks, and scalability of a use case.
• You can communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate confidently with different specialist teams and senior management.
• You work independently, systematically, and with a solution-oriented mindset, and have an excellent command of both German and English.

For us, a particular academic qualification is less important than your proven ability to successfully deliver complex automation and AI projects.

We would be particularly pleased if you also have:

• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector databases, or agentic frameworks
• Knowledge of testing and evaluating LLM and agent-based systems
• Experience with cloud platforms, Git, Docker, or CI/CD
• Knowledge of the GDPR, the EU AI Act, AI governance, or information security
• Experience with data-intensive platforms, digital products, or high-volume transactional processes
• Experience in market research, panel management, AdTech, or performance marketing
• Experience in product development, process management, or the implementation of new technologies
• A portfolio, GitHub profile, or specific examples of automations and AI solutions you have developed
