Arbeitsbeschreibung - Assistant (m/w/d) im Bereich Vertrieb

For over 30 years, we at VMT have been developing surveying solutions for tunnel construction and industrial surveying.

With more than 2,700 successful tunneling projects worldwide, we are leaders in the fields of navigation, production management, and process monitoring.

Our systems optimize tunnel construction – from navigation for tunnel boring machines to solutions for segment production and safety monitoring. In addition, we offer highly precise automation solutions for manufacturing processes.

With more than 220 employees worldwide and as part of the Herrenknecht Group, we continuously set new standards in complex infrastructure projects.

To strengthen our sales team at our Bruchsal location (near Karlsruhe), we are looking for a Sales Assistant (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.
  • Quotation preparation and coordination: In close collaboration with the Sales and Project Management departments, you will be responsible for preparing quotations for our customers worldwide.
  • Experience with ERP systems: You already have experience maintaining sales-related data in an ERP system and are motivated to acquire new technical skills with us.
  • Organizational talent: Your organizational skills are particularly evident in scheduling and travel planning for the Sales team, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Administration and reporting: As an experienced assistant, you effortlessly handle general administrative tasks such as document management and creating reports. You know exactly what matters and always keep track of everything.
  • Communication: Thanks to your strong communication skills, you handle communication in both German and English with confidence and professionalism, effectively supporting the team in all areas.
  • Completed vocational training: A completed technical or commercial training, e.g., as an office communication clerk or office clerk.
  • Professional experience: Several years of experience as an assistant in sales or project management are an advantage.
  • ERP system knowledge: Experience in working with an ERP system.
  • MS Office skills: Proficient in using the MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Language skills: Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Individual onboarding: Personal support during the onboarding phase for a successful start in the new job.
