Arbeitsbeschreibung - Business Development Representative (gn) - Nordics

New business is essential to the successful growth of the organization, and you will have a critical role in building and nurturing the pipeline of new leads and opportunities for Contentserv & Shoppingfeed solution across Europe remotely via Microsoft Teams, phone, email and digital tools.

  • Researching and identifying potential new customers within the B2B and B2C sectors.
  • Develop a pipeline of SMB (Small & Medium Business) customers 
  • Working with social media channels as well as phone and email, you’ll be handling inbound enquiries from prospective new clients, finding out more about their data management requirements and identifying opportunities for Contentserv.
  • You will also be proactively reaching out to target organizations to connect with relevant stakeholders and make them aware of Contentserv’s position in the market and platform capabilities.
  • You will be part of the EU team directly supporting Sales and ensuring that the company’s data records of client interactions is kept up to date.
  • Data entry and management (working to make sure leads, contacts and account modules are updated in CRM)
  • Report monthly on actions taken 
  • Participate in and lead e-commerce events and trade shows.
  • Curiosity and a hunger to learn. You are willing to put the work in to acquire new skills as needed.
  • You’ll be a persistent, determined and goal-oriented person who has excellent written and spoken communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • You’ll be a graduate with 3 - 5 years’ experience working, most likely in technology sales or telephone-oriented sales role (previous working experience within the data management fields would be a strong plus).
  • You need to be outgoing and confident to connect with many different people on a daily basis. 
  • You’ll be able to ask open-ended questions to gain an understanding of the client’s needs, and able to articulate Contentserv’s value proposition and how this can benefit the client.
  • You will have the ability to work with all levels of professionals within a business including Board Executives, Directors, Business Managers, IT Managers and Solution Architects etc.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage own time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word (a strong advantage would be previous experience working with Hubspot CRM). 
  • Flexibility: You adapt as situations change and are comfortable with ambiguity and constant change. You are extremely versatile and dedicated to productivity.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Speaking Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Flemish or French would be a big plus.
