Chief of Staff - VP Development (m/f/d)

• Heartbeat: Building a virtual power plant levering our energy manager “Heartbeat” and evolving the customer experience with our Energy Tarif Dynamic Pulse and App around this

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join our team as the Chief of Staff to the VP Development. This role will play a critical part in supporting the VP in driving strategic initiatives, managing key projects, and ensuring seamless communication across the department. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

• You act as a multifunctional interface between the individual stakeholders and divisions of 1KOMMA5°
• You support the management, implementation and coordination of operational or strategic projects with cross-location significance
• You support the VP Development as we continue to expand and scale the Tech organization of 1KOMMA5°
• You prepare and structure fundamental IT and technology decisions for the future of 1KOMMA5°
• You track the progress of our projects, take responsibility for planning and controlling (e.g. progress reporting) with the VP
• You support the VP in day-to-day operations and strategic issues

• You have completed a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with a focus on the tech or engineering domain or a comparable field
• You have 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in IT project planning or consulting, renewable energies or project management
• You possess intrinsic motivation to support the VP in a challenging day-to-day business and handle information discreetly
• You understand how tech and product work together, which is essential for collaborating with our cross-functional teams
• You are up for a challenging job in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a willingness to travel
• You demonstrate a hands-on mentality as well as the willingness to independently drive projects and flag critical decision points
• You take the initiative and always find the best way to structure and present various topics and tasks
• You master analytical and critical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset and you are used to quick decision-making
• You are confident working with Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs and tools such as Github and Jira are no foreign words for you
• You are a strong communicator and absolutely fluent in German and English (C1 / C2)
