• Flow down and define subsystem-level RF requirements and ensure compliance with performance targets, environmental constraints, and regulatory standards.
• Lead trade-offs, selection, design, and integration of RF components such as software-defined radios (SDRs), antennas, filters, LNAs, and HPAs to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Conduct RF system simulations and perform link budget analyses to verify requirements and make sure the system delivers strong, reliable performance even in challenging environments.
• Own the interface definition with the communication ground segment
• Plan, coordinate, and execute laboratory and range tests, verifying system behavior and performance in realistic conditions.
• Support the development of safety, reliability, and certification documentation, contributing to overall system qualification and mission assurance.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in RF system design, preferably in satellite communications.
• Strong understanding of RF principles including link margins, propagation models, and modulation schemes.
• Expertise in designing and testing RF and microwave communication systems, with proficiency in tools like MATLAB, ADS, or equivalent.
• Optional, expertise in optical communications systems for ISL and S2G
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements  (e.g., ITU, ECSS, FCC)  in satellite communications.
• clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to document technical work thoroughly
• Strong sense of ownership and drive to independently advance and progress
