Container / OpenShift Consultant (w/m/d) in Voll- oder Teilzeit

Recently, in our team meeting: 
Rupi: "So, we need someone else who knows about Kubernetes."  
Linda: "More than that. The job title is Container / OpenShift Consultant (f/m/d)."  
Rupi: "Good, that doesn't just mean Kubernetes, but the full range with Docker, Podman, configuration with Helm or Kustomize, automation tools such as Ansible, Chef and/or Puppet."  
Linda: "They also need knowledge how to use monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, as well as CI/CD, whether GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins. And the person should be proficient in scripting, in at least one language such as Bash or Python."  
Rupi: "That's right. Because you just mentioned Git: GitOps experience, preferably with ArgoCD or Octopus Deploy, would be important."  
Linda: "And knowledge of persistent storage setup would also be good, OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) fits the profile."  
Rupi: "Uff, that's quite a long list. Of course it would be good to know it all. But small gaps would be OK. After all, abstract understanding and the ability to transfer is more important to us than buzzword bingo."  
Linda: "But we do require a certain skillset, don't we? We want to see an IT degree or training."  
Rupi: "Of course. The usual wording would be 'university degree in computer science or comparable training'. However, we don't want to discourage suitable people from applying by demanding specific skills or requirements that they may not have or not yet have."  
Linda: "I understand what you mean. What's important for us is a willingness to learn. And we also require a certain amount of experience with OpenShift. We don't want to start from scratch. But we don't have an educational hierarchy. A university graduate doesn't automatically have more stripes on their shoulder than a trained computer scientist."  
Rupi: "Exactly. Anyone who now thinks that OpenShift is not Kubernetes, but something else, should really educate themselves. OpenShift does include Kubernetes. But logically, own experience would be good. For the salary, however, it plays a role whether someone has invested the time to study, together with age and professional experience. We pay 70-100k euros for a senior position. And our many benefits such as company pension scheme, kindergarten allowance, etc. are on top of that. We are flexible in terms of full or part-time work."  
Linda: "What about language skills? You need to be able to communicate in German and English, just to talk to our head office in Zagreb."  
Rupi: "Croatian would of course be a bonus, but fluency in German and English is a must."  
Linda: "We can pick up German quickly and we'll see how good the English skills are when we visit Zagreb at the latest."  
Rupi: "What do you mean?"  
Linda: “Well, our usual application process. The first interview with our bosses, Peter and Joachim, the second time 'getting to know' the team, and if everything fits, getting to know the Croatian colleagues in order to develop a feeling for CROZ as a whole. After all, it's much more important to us that the personality fits us than any skill profile.”  
Rupi: "You mean getting to know Vedrana and the other bosses, our great team spirit, what people are like and so on? Definitely. That's also what makes us special."  
Linda: "And also the current projects. The lead from Germany and the collaboration with the people in Croatia, Serbia etc."
Rupi: "Of course we want to grow here in Munich with CROZ DACH so that we always have at least one person who speaks good German for all typical roles and skills in the future."
Linda: "Exactly. And for that to work, we need people to apply. And for that we need job advertisements."  
Rupi: "But no lists, please! We don't want to see three lists, as they appear in every job advertisement. 'We offer, this is what you bring, these are your tasks'. Everyone thinks: 'My house, my car, my boat'."  
Linda: "I completely agree with you. But how do we do it then?"  
Rupi: "Like in every cooking show: I once prepared something: 'Well, we need someone who knows about Kubernetes'....
