Data Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Data Integration Engineer (m/f/d) at acto, you'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge data engineering and impactful client solutions. You'll play a pivotal role in empowering customers to onboard seamlessly, customize solutions, and harness the full potential of their data. From guiding onboardings and data integration, synchronizing data, to crafting tailored data pipelines, you'll be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable intelligence. Your role will also focus heavily on effective communication, ensuring technical insights are accessible to a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Engineer data pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines tailored to client-specific requirements.
• Transform data: Prepare and transform customer data to enhance usability and drive value realization.
• Ensure seamless data integration & synchronization: Maintain data consistency and optimize data integrations, ensuring smooth data synchronization.
• Guide customer onboarding & be a trusted advisor: Lead our customers through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to our platform & engage deeply with them to uncover business challenges, clarify technical specifications, and gather feedback.
• Collaborate across teams: Work with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to identify automation opportunities and improve integration processes.
• Stay ahead: Continuously learn and adapt to the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies to remain at the forefront of data-driven solutions.

We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about solving business challenges through technology, thrive on effective communication, and excel in collaborative environments. You’ll shine in this role if you:

• Have a technical foundation: A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with at least 1-2 years of experience in Python, SQL, modern data engineering tools, and Workflow automation and design.
• Love data engineering: Proficiency in customizing and optimizing data pipelines and applying transformations to deliver actionable insights.
• Are an excellent communicator: You can distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients of all technical levels.
• Think analytically and creatively: You excel at connecting technology to solve core business problems, delivering measurable outcomes.
• Are independent and team-oriented: You have a structured approach to your work and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
• Speak fluently: Excellent command of German, both written and spoken, is essential. Proficiency in English is a strong plus.
