DFT DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F/D)

​​​​​​​​​​​​At our location in Germany / Mannheim or Austria / Villach (hybrid and/or remote work model) we are looking for you, as a “DFT Design Engineer (m/f/d)” to join us as soon as possible. You have basic or advanced skills and a desire to expand your knowledge and work with us hands-on. 

• Drive DFT concept and methodology on EXTOLL's high-speed interface IPs.
• Integrate, implement and verify DFT functionalities.
• Analyze and improve IP testability together with RTL and implementation teams.
• Customer support on SoC DFT integration of EXTOLL's IP.

• B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related subject with emphasis on hardware design.
• min. 3 years of work experience in Design For Test, including internships.
• Experience with widely used DFT tools from major EDA vendors (Siemens EDA (former Mentor), Synopsys, Cadence).
• Knowledge about scan test, OCC, JTAG/iJTAG, boundary scan, IEEE 1500.
• Experience with GTL simulations in Cadence Xcelium, or a comparable simulator, for verification of DFT structures and pattern simulations.
• Experience in HDL design using Verilog / SystemVerilog.
• Knowledge about timing constraint generation (SDC) and timing verification.
• Familiarity with synthesis tools like Cadence Genus would be preferred.
• Written and spoken English skills are required.

The employment terms comply with the collective agreement for Information Technology employees, specific to employment group ST2 (Kollektivvertrag).
