The Cardano Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Asset Banking and CEX Relationship Manager to drive the adoption of Cardano's native assets and ecosystem within centralized exchanges and traditional financial institutions. This role is pivotal in expanding the reach and utility of Cardano, fostering key partnerships that will shape the future of decentralized finance.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in cultivating and managing strategic relationships within the web3 DeFi digital exchanges, digital asset and traditional finance sectors. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented individual who is passionate about cryptocurrency and possesses exceptional communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to effectively bridge the gap between cutting-edge blockchain technology and established financial systems.

You will have have the following responsibilities: 

CEX Relationship Management: 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for managing relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 CEXs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target CEXs, including C-level executives. 

• Secure and manage communication channels to ensure effective collaboration on both business and technical levels. 

• Negotiate and secure favorable listing agreements for Cardano native assets on major exchanges. 

• Provide support for the integration of CF developer solutions (e.g. Rust node) within CEX platforms. Collaborate with CEXs on user education initiatives, leveraging resources like the Cardano Academy.

Crypto Banking & Institutional Outreach:

• Identify and engage with traditional financial institutions offering or planning to offer digital asset services. 

• Promote the Cardano ecosystem and secure the listing of ADA assets within these institutions' product offerings. 

• Advocate for the integration of ADA staking and other ADA-based services within these platforms. 

Collaboration & Ecosystem Growth:

• Work closely with internal teams (Integrations, Marketing, Product) to ensure alignment and effective execution of CEX-related initiatives. 

• Foster collaboration with other industry players & enterprises for joint initiatives that benefit the Cardano ecosystem. 

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments related to CEXs and digital assets.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management or business development within the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and/or financial services industry.

• Proven track record of managing relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Centralized Exchanges (CEXs).

• Proven experience in engaging with decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and DeFi protocols.

• Experience in negotiating and securing listing agreements for digital assets.

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital asset markets, and the evolving regulatory landscape.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Drive significant growth in the adoption and accessibility of Cardano native assets through successful CEX listings and institutional integrations.

• Establish the Cardano Foundation as a key partner for centralized exchanges and traditional financial institutions in the digital asset space.

• Contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of the Cardano ecosystem by fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations.
